Acreage home builders, Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay
Building on acreage in the Sunshine Coast hinterland or Moreton Bay? We design acreage homes around your land, access and services, with inclusions made for rural sites.
From site access to handover
Acreage builds bring longer driveways, bigger site works and sometimes standalone water, power or wastewater. We plan these early and include site costs in your pricing from the start.
- Site access, clearing and driveway planning
- Planning for water, power and wastewater
- A design tailored to your land and views
- One team, one contract, from start to finish

Our builder, Arcadia, was absolutely fantastic throughout our entire project. From the very beginning, their team was incredibly helpful, guiding us through every decision and making the whole build feel smooth and stress-free. Everything ran seamlessly, and any questions or concerns we had were handled promptly and professionally. Thanks to Arcadia and the team, the whole experience was not just efficient, but genuinely enjoyable.
We built our first home with Arcadia homes and the team went above and beyond to make our building experience a positive one. Mitchell understood our budget and our dream home vision and delivered. The build has blown away our expectations. We will forever be grateful for what Arcadia homes have been able to do for our family. We can’t recommend Arcadia homes highly enough, we will definitely be back to build with the team again in the future.
Arcadia Homes were an absolute pleasure to build with! We received our keys just before Christmas (completing the build eariler then expected) it was the best Christmas present ever, thank you Arcadia! The team allowed us to visit the construction site at certain periods of the build which allowed us to see if it was everything we pictured or if we had any concerns we could raise them right there so we can make an amendment. There planning was spot on and the only change we had was that we wanted a barn door which they happily helped us out with. when we build again, it will be through Arcadia homes for sure!
Do you build acreage homes in Moreton Bay?
Yes. Acreage and first homes are a big part of our Moreton Bay work, alongside hinterland acreage on the Sunshine Coast. Our own carpenters work in both regions.
What if my acreage has no town water or sewer?
Some acreage lots need standalone water, power or wastewater systems. We factor these into planning and pricing early, so your home works properly from handover.
Do you have inclusions made for acreage homes?
Yes. Our Acreage inclusions package is designed specifically for rural and larger sites, with features and allowances that suit everyday acreage living.
Can I build a custom home on acreage?
Yes. Start from one of our acreage designs or go full custom with our in-house draftsperson. Entry-level custom homes start from around $400k to $450k.
Does building on acreage cost more?
It can, through longer driveways, clearing, site works and services. Our live price lists include site costs, so you see those numbers before you commit to a build.
What is included in your advertised price?
The price we advertise is the price we expect you to sign. We build every estimate to reflect what your contract will actually look like, rather than opening with a low base price and adding items through the sales process. If something sits outside the price, we will tell you before you commit.
Are you acreage home builders across QLD?
No. We build acreage homes on the Sunshine Coast and in Moreton Bay only. That keeps our own carpentry crews and supervisors close to every site we build.
